I guess this is turning into a "Blog Anonymous" for me. I have a new addiction, yep, you got it strawberries! It's like I am trying to make as much strawberry jam as I can before my favorite stand closes. I only have a few more weeks before of the extreme heat kills off my berries! I think I have made about 7 batches of freezer jam. Each batch makes at least 5-8oz. containers. Yes, I know, I'm crazy! Sad thing is I'll probably make another batch or two before the season is done!

Hey don't forget your favorite
father-in-law. How he loves your strawberry jam!!!!!!
I haven't even made any yet, so let me know where your stand is. I'm gearing up for apricot and my grandma's tree should be ready around the 5th of June. I should do some strawberry, though; I do love a good canning session. I'm still a little shy about tons of freezer jam as our refrigerator died last fall (I lost a lot of jam and fruit).
There's nothing better than strawberry freezer jam. I made a ton last summer and we've just finished off the last of it. I'm waiting to get some more berries later in the summer to make a bunch more.
I would love you recipie cooker lady.
Our fave stawberry stand out here in the southwest isn't open this year. I was so sad. Where is the one you go to? I need to dip some in chocolate for a bridal shower I'm throwing this weekend.
The stand is on Snow Road. Just take Jewetta all the way to Snow. Turn left. It's a little stand on your right. The strawberries are picked daily so they will not keep for more than a couple of days. Good Luck!
That is so far away from ME! But I might just have to spend the $10 in gas to get them. Fresh picked are the only way to go.
ps. Sara has just posted a picture of "girls camp" days. I plan on doing a future post just about that subject. So, get out your scrapbooks if you can contribute anything to that! kthanksbye.
Hey Allie, I made some too! Only maybe a week left of the season. Better hurry! :)There's a stand on rosedale Hwy right by our house just past Heath road. Yummy!!
I need the recipes for all that you have on your site. The bread looks great. You sound like you are just the homemaker of the year!!!!! Too bad I am so far away that I can't come over and get some of your great tips! Love the blog!
