Sonic has gotten out of control around this town or maybe I have. So I do enjoy a nice diet dr. pepper every once in awhile, especially at half price time. Today was just ridiculous as I went (during half price time) to get my favorite drink. It was 2:08pm and Sonic was so busy it took me almost 15 minutes to get my drink. Of course I stayed! Why wouldn't I? I wanted my half price drink like everyone else in Bakersfield! Well, I guess I am little bit ridiculous too!

Thank goodness that's done. I'm very tired and just happy that this ordeal is finally over. It wasn't that bad, it just takes forever! I definitely like it better than before, hopefully someone else will too. I'm debating weather or not to put a flat poly over it to harden it up so it won't scratch so much. What do ya think?
Or at least I like to think I did. I just get excited when I think I get a good deal, especially when I spend more money there than I should. So I go on Saturday to buy my paint and new hinges for my cabinets. After purchasing these items I received a $10 off coupon for my next purchase over $50 between the dates of April 14th -21st. I am definitely not going back there anytime soon. So here's what happened: After I do some sanding and painting, I began to put on my hinges. Low and behold it would not be a complete project unless I do something wrong, right Em? So I had to return my hinges and get the correct ones. Of course when I was purchasing the new hinges the total came up to 41 dollars. Hum. . . I want to use that $10 off coupon! So, I look up and saw the gift card section and thought, maybe I could buy a $10 gift card and use the $10 off coupon? Drum roll please. . . it worked (only after much kindness to the cashier). Now I can use my gift card whenever I want!
I need to jot this down so my kids will remember that I was a fun mom. It's amazing to me that when I was a kid I could create a mess in minutes and never think twice. Now as a mother, gosh I sure hate clean up and having to constantly remind my girls to help.
America has it all wrong! I am so sad to see one of my favorites go. What are people thinking leaving in some of the worst ones like. . . Carly, Jason, Sayesha and Kristi. All I can say is WHATEVER!

While we visited with our grandma and grandpa Beck we wanted to go shooting with the grown ups. Yes, dad told us the rules and he also told us to NEVER, EVER point it at someone. Dad also helped us with our first couple of shots, but yes we really did shoot the gun once by ourselves. It was scary at first but once we did it we thought it was really cool.
Today we are picking up our missionaries! We are so excited to see them. They have been missed by our little family. The kids are so excited to spend sometime with their grandma and grandpa Beck. They have greatly missed them. It will be great to see them!
Are you willing to go the distant to be fashionable? All I have to say about this one is. . . Gross! Why in the world would you want someone to see your murf, even if its not really yours? This is the latest fashion in Japan and its apparently coming to the US. I'm sure you'll be able to purchase this fine piece of material at your local Wal-Mart!
