Wheat And I Are Becoming Friends!

Yes, its true, wheat and I have become friends. I've been meaning to use my wheat grinder for sometime now but as usual I procrastinate! I'm trying a new idea from Just Organize Yourself. Joy does a Food Storage Friday and I decided to give it a try! I used my wheat grinder and food storage wheat to make flour. I then made these pretty good blueberry muffins. They tasted a little bland but if you add the topping of cinnamon and brown sugar. . . well then, what can I say except. . . good!

I then use my flour to make homemade bread. I was amazed at this new tricked I learned from my friend Shawnel. Once your bread rises, roll out your dough with a roller. Then roll your bread up like you would a cinnamon roll. Once it bakes you get perfect looking bread! Umm. . .good!

So when should I be expecting that you'll be sharing this lovely bread with me? I have butter.

I actually love that idea of rolling the dough up. Genius.
