I've always wanted to do a triathlon and I was able to check this off the list this past weekend. This was one of the hardest things mentally and physically I've had to do in a long time. Looking back on it now, it was fun and I MIGHT possibly do it again. It was so much fun to do with great friends and family! Way to go guys, you rock!

soooo jealous! If only they had triathlon's where I didn't have to swim.
You guys are all awesome. I'm in awe of all of you.
Just have to comment on how much you KICKED booty on this!! So proud :-)
I was wondering if you guys were going to do that. So thrilled for you. I'm hoping to do that someday, but like Memzy, if only without the swimming.
Way to go Allie!! You are awesome!!

Congratulations!! That is a GREAT accomplishment! It was so fun to see the picture of you and Maralee! Did you train together? You all look fabulous!
I am getting ready to do my second Tri at the end of the month. It is awesome training and then the day of the event, your juices get going and you are done before you know it. You have to do another! How long was your tri?
I did a sprint triathlon in 2007 while we still lived in Fresno, and then I got out of shape after moving to PA. I am doing another sprint at the end of June. .9k swim, 24k bike, and 5k run. It is similar to your triathlon. I always get nervous about open water swims. We are doing our swim in a river, so going down stream will be fun, but heading back up stream will suck. I am planning on doing a marathon next year. I did three 100 mile bike rides in 2007, so I think I am good with organized bike races. I would like to do a full triathlon, but I am not sure my shoulder would hold out on the swim. Good luck training for the next one.
